Holistic Microneedling Facials
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment. It stimulates the skin’s natural healing process to remodel the skin by enhancing production of collagen and elastin, which helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and minimize the appearance of acne scars. This all-encompassing session combines body acupuncture and Microneedling. Each session includes the application of Hyaluronic Acid Serum and a Healing Facial Mask, and LED light therapy to enhance the rejuvenating effects.

What to avoid after, to get the most benefit from your facial.
-
Avoid washing your face the day of treatment. To hydrate the skin, use TOMA's Boosting Collagen Serum as often as needed. Apply with damp hands and press onto the treated areas.
-
NO touching your face to reduce risk of bacteria entering the microchannels. We recommend using a clean pillow case, too.
NO targeted skincare treatments for 3 days post treatment. This includes AHAs such as glycolic acid, retinol, vitamin C, and enzymes.
NO sun exposure if possible and if you must use sunscreen, use a natural, zinc based product. And wear a hat!
NO makeup for at least 24 hours, but ideally 48 hours to avoid clogging pores.
No sweating for 48 hours. This means no exercise, saunas, steam rooms or hot tubs.
NO swimming for at least 3 days. Chemicals can irritate the skin and salt can over dry it.
NO anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen and naproxen) and ice compresses to allow the body's own inflammatory response to do what it needs to do.
-
Return in 4-6 weeks for your next treatment.
Best results with monthly treatments for the first 3-6 months, depending on skin condition, then maintenance treatment recommended every 5-9 months
